Relaxing for a minute.

Before the weather got way too hot to be outside, we played outside all day long. We did nature scavenger hunts, had real tea parties with goldfish and water, threw the frisbee, played t-ball, swam with neighbors, talked with neighbors, etc. Now we stay inside unless we are swimming haha. I think I remember complaining about the cold only 3 months ago, so I won't complain about the heat very much.

Loving where we live.

We are slowly getting to know all the roads to take to all the places without using our phones. We know which hikes are better done in the evening or the morning. We road our bikes to a local parade where we got the most candy than any other parade we've ever been to before. We hit up a car show. We know our neighbors and their kids. We are loving where we are living.

Georgia's first pony tails. When Sylvie was this age, I could french braid her hair, but these two piggies are just as cute! :)

Some more evening hikes.

parade day

car show. Dan won a raffle that came with a hat and football. It was fun but so hot! The kids surprisingly liked it too. But maybe that was because they knew we were getting Sams Club for dinner. haha. Sounds so white trash, but they love their pizza and frozen yogurt.

One thing I really love about Dan, is his ability to talk to everyone. Each car that he admired, he made sure he went and talked to the owner. He's a good egg.

ready for Julydaho!!!

The girls had been counting down the days to go to Idaho for months!! They were so excited to see their Texas cousins that only come once a year. So we went to Target to get some supplies and to kill the time until Dan got off work for us to go. Also, this picture of us there---this was the only way Georgia would be happy because we went during nap time. It was a blast.

After target, we went to the park to get some wiggles out before the drive.

We also had some watermelon to cool down with.

Loaded the car with all the things and took off! Love those smiles and hands.

Georgia loves her granny so much. The night we got there she was going CRAZY!!! she would dive towards my mom laughing so hard, then roll over and do it again and again. She was so happy.

we did our best to match for the sunday before the 4th.
Oh, and I made a fort for these 3 to sleep in while we are in Idaho. I was a little jealous I wasn't sleeping in there.
Isaac acted like this was a totally normal way to eat ice cream on a warm summer evening. :)
Bring on more Julydaho!

Saying goodbye to Millie

Dan's parents had to put their dog down last week, so we went to say goodbye. She was one of the only dogs Sylvie has ever liked, so it was sad to see her go. But she was old and so sick.

Playmill theatre time.

For Eleanor's birthday we went to see The Little Mermaid at the Playmill Theatre. Dan kept Georgia while I took the two older girls on a date to see it. It was so much fun!! The girls were obsessed with it. Sylvie wore her Arial dress-up and got so much attention from all the actors. Stori was sad she didn't have a dress to wear, but she still got a lot of attention because we sat on the 3rd row. She got to sing into the microphone with a mermaid, and both girls got to go sing and dance on the stage before the play started.

Cute cousins!

^^singing her little heart out

meeting a few cool people.
^^Sylvie was a little nervous of Ursula, but she explained to Sylvie that she was just in a costume like for Halloween and to not be scared of her. It worked!

We sat next to Sebastians sister during the play, so we got a picture with him too. He was the best part of the show for my girls.

Everyone had so much fun walking around West Yellowstone with cousins. I hope I get to take them again next year!

Random pictures of some cute humans.

This little baby of mine, loves feeding this baby of hers  :)

Also, I love these two reading buddies. After we go running, I go get ready for the day while the kids get their chores done. When I got out of the shower, they had already finished them all, and had started reading books together. So sweet.

Georgia knows how to get in the art closet now. So thats fun.

A little rocker girl at our splash pad play date.

Rigby Lake

When we first got to Idaho, we could not put on enough layers because it was SO COLD!! But one day, it hit 90* and we about died. We went to Rigby lake 2 days in a row to escape the heat. (with the rest of Rigby, Idaho Falls, and Rexburg). The second day, we played for over 6 hours and no one was ready to go home then either. Especially the big kids. Dan and my brothers played keep away in the water for several hours with my nieces and nephews!
When we got home that night, I put the kids down for bed and didn't even finish one primary song before they were asleep. The best!
^^ Stori is being tossed between uncle josh and daddy. She loved it.
^^ the always together ryder and june bug
....^^ and Hazel and Stori. Cousins are the best
Astoria almost fell asleep while being buried in the sand.

Cute little Georgia loved that freezing water so much.
I'm sure we will be visiting this lake several more times this summer while we are in Idaho.
