Dan studied for 3 months straight to take the dang Bar exam. once you take the test, it takes 9 weeks to find out your results. so annoying. We had a lot of fun after the test though. We got to spend so much time together...and then eventually that fun turned slightly into panic. We learned that Dan's friends studied from sun-up to sun-down 6 days a week. and they paid $3,000 more dollars for a fancy study guide. We did the basic study guide, and dan studied from 9:30am-4pm, and took Saturday and Sunday off... so when the day FINALLY came, we were all a little sick to our stomachs. and of course, they don't release the scores at midnight, no...they make you wait until 3pm.
3:00 rolled around and I watched Dan's face as he started reading his score. nothing. So of course, I about threw up, thinking the he failed. the dirty rat. then slowly his face started to smile. haha PHEW!!! he had passed! and not just passed, he scored an AMAZING score! Higher than 80% of the country! such a smarty pants.
After the bar, you still have to pay even more money, just to get sworn in. It was fun though. We got a hotel in Boise, and got to spend 2 days there. Boise is definitely an option of where I would live to live.
