Birthday Stori

Summer birthdays are truly the very best. My little Astoria Rose is now 6, and reading soooo good! She has a genuine love to be silly and funny. Which doesn't always happen at appropriate time haha. But man oh man we love this beautiful sweet heart.
She wanted an Elena of Avelor cake (???) not sure why, I think she's seen the show once maybe? but what the birthday girl wants, I do my best to get.
OH, and she got her ears pierced. This was something she had been trying to earn for a LONG time. She has this horrible habit of biting her nails, causing horrible hang-nails that require the Dr's assistance. So we told her that if she could stop biting those nails, and that if I could cut her fingernails for 2 months straight without her biting them, then we could get them pierced. She did it, and still hasn't bitten them since.

We ate at Cafe Rio on her actual birthday...

and then had dinner at Rigby Lake on her fake birthday...

and partied at the IF Zoo for the twin cousin bday
