a few days in Harrisville

We have spent nearly every day since the last weekend of June, in Idaho. Julydaho. We LOVED our days there so much. It was really nice to come back for a few days while dan worked though. While we were here, we explored downtown 25th street; it's a very famous street where a lot of movies and tv shows were filmed. We also did a lot of play doh (shutter), legos, crafts, art, night-night walks, morning runs, ladder climbing for Georgia (the little stinker can climb up anything), celebrated pioneer day, and spent several days at the new library. This is a pretty great town.

Play doh... my fave ;)

We put the kids to bed at 8:30 on Pioneer day and then felt guilty they didn't stay up for the fireworks, so we got them out of bed to watch the neighborhood light off their fireworks.

on 25th street, they have random painted pianos on the corner blocks. The girls loved to stop and listen to talented people, and then try their hand at it too.

Dan's brother Jon stayed the night at our house, so we put the girls to bed in our room.

And on my birthday, I woke up to a sweet mirror filled with wonderful love notes. We always keep a marker in our bathroom for such notes to be written.
