LAGOON

We did Lagoon passes again this year---it just makes financial sense if you plan on going 2 times. It's cheaper to do season passes even if you want to go 1.5 times haha. Plus it takes away the stress and pressure to go hard all day from open to close. This year we just drove up and back the same day, and it wasn't bad at all. We got home super late at night, but we recovered quickly. We did the first half of the day just us, but then had some friends meet up with us after their kids were done with their sports. It was so fun. We sent all the kids off together for a little while all the adults just hung out and talked haha...see, if we didn't have season passes, that wouldn't have been possible :) But we rode all the rides we wanted to several times (except primordial...just once), and stopped for lunch in the gazebo to take a break from the heat and sit down. Speaking of heat, we decided to do Rattlesnake rapids, and most of the people getting off the ride were fairly dry....but not us haha. We got SOAKED! it felt great because it was so warm, but we didn't see that coming haha. We had the absolute perfect weather all day. Never got too cold when evening and closing came around. I could have stayed outside another 48 hours in those temps.

After lagoon, we all decided to head to In-N-Out for dinner... ended up staying wayyyy longer than we thought, but no one wanted to leave :)

finally headed home and dropped Jon and Evelyn off in Pocatello and made our way to Rexburg. Got home around 1am, bed by 1:30am  and then up at 7am to prepare our lesson for church that started at 9am. :) we planned to do a movie and relax day, but went out to my moms house to hang out with her and Megans family. Glad we went!

It was a fun weekend and I'm so excited for many more summertime adventures.
