This has been our most adventurous Spring Break we've ever been on. Our original plan was to go to St. George from Thursday-Saturday (doing Zions and playgrounds and swimming), then drive to Lagoon for Saturday and stay with our friends Saturday night, and then go to church at our old ward in Harrisville and do our favorite parks. But Saturday morning we woke up to the kids eyes being filled with goop and kinda red... not knowing if it was pink eye or not, we decided to forgo Lagoon and friends so we didn't infect the state of Utah.
It turned out to be the best decision because the eyes healed up quickly and we got to cross off a bucket list item. We rode our bikes 18 miles through the Tetons and the kids said it was one of the best days of their lives. The weather was 64* and so sunny! Absolutely perfect. They don't open the park to cars until may, so we got to ride the roads!! So fun!
When we were in St.George we went to Thunder Junction twice, splash pad there and at the lazy river in the city park, hiked up the red rocks in Pioneer Park, and spent a full hot day in Zions!! Always so beautiful, but this time was a little too warm for my liking. We finished each night with a swim in the hotel pool, and a family movie with popcorn! Ah, it was so much fun!!! Oh and we had In-N-Out and Pollo Loco! mmmmm
Today is our last day of Spring Break, and we started it by sending Dan off to work, and us girls took to the Butte for a hike. Small little hike, but still fun for a simple thing to do. We will be doing Cafe Rio tonight and then back to real life tomorrow. CANNOT WAIT FOR SUMMER BREAK!!!!
